Testimonials

Air Design came quickly and did an excellent job going above and beyond showing us how the units worked. They worked quick to find the solution to our issue and resolved it almost immediately. They were in and out in less than an hour therefore saving us a ton of money! I can’t thank Air Design enough for their genuine care and effort to do everything they could to help us out. We will be calling you again for all our AC/Heating needs in the future!

Excellent sales and service. Fair pricing, neat work and honest information. They also return calls quickly, even after hours. I have been using them for 15 years and highly recommend them.

Air Design installed my air conditioning and heating unit about a year and a half ago, I have been using them ever since. I am really happy with how things turned out and use them for my seasonal check-ups. I have worked mainly with Jim and Frank; they are good people and really know what they are doing. I don’t have any reason to look for a different service and think they are just great!

I met with James to discuss the ductless a/c. He was professional and thorough with explaining how the system is installed, how it works, and the time needed for the installation. Any questions I had were answered. The crew arrived on time and also worked in a professional manner. I am happy with the service that I received.

I got three bids and I found them to be very knowledgeable and understanding of what my needs were above the others. Several recommendations were given for me to consider. They were timely, their work was neat, and they were competitively prices. Would highly recommend them. They did a great job.

We reviewed several proposals to install central air conditioning for our home, which required a central air and ductless approach due to room layouts. Our primary concern was reputation and workmanship, both of which met and exceeded our expectations from Air Design. Owners James and Frank Padavan were attentive to every requirement. The installation took two days given our circumstances. We had central air by the end of the first day, and ductless on the second. There was a modest post installation fix required which was taken care of immediately. A simple call to the office and serviced the next day. Jim and Frank were thoughtful in their approach to the project and always available to answer any questions which arose. They were well acquainted with building permit requirements for our locale, as evidenced by a timely approval of the project. All in all, a job well done with excellent workmanship. Most importantly hands on owners who treat customers with respect for any concerns. Highly recommended.

Very neat & professional, I highly recommend them to anyone!

My central air unit broke July 4th weekend. I called them at midnight for an emergency and they called me back right away. They tried everything, so it would be fixed but we had to wait for another part from the manufacturer which was just installed today. Their customer service was amazing, and the technician was great. I’m happy to now have a reliable company if I need future maintenance.

I had a ductless A/C and heater installed in my basement. Air Design showed up on time, completed the work in a professional manner, and left my house spotless. A great job all around.

Professional, reliable, friendly team, everything was done in time. Thank you.

I would absolutely recommend Air Design for anyone’s air conditioning needs. Mr. James Padavan and Mr. Frank Padavan were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in answering all my questions and concerns. The installation of my central air conditioning system was extremely efficient and organized. The work was very neat and great care was given to making sure that everything was cleaned up properly. Thanks very much!!

These guys were awesome!! Mike the technician was great, very knowledgeable and showed me how to work everything. They are also local and have an office you can go to.

We are very happy with our new Carrier furnace installed by Air Design. The new unit is so quiet we don’t know when it’s on. The house is comfortable all day and all night. Jim at Air Design was careful to offer us many choices and explained each one to us, how they each preformed and what we could expect in fuel cost and comfort. We highly recommend them for your next heating system or water heater.

I’ve used Air Design for AC and heat for around 5 years now and they’ve been great. Very responsive and very capable.

Air Design is a true professional HVAC company. Jim and Frank’s expertise and product knowledge is second to none. I trusted and had confidence in Air design for HVAC work since 1993.

Air Design did my install about 18 years ago and left my house as clean as when they first started. Now, the outside unit would not turn on last night. I sent a message via Facebook messenger and Air Design messaged me back first thing. They knew we were in dire straits, moved around appointments and came to us THE SAME DAY. Replaced the capacitor and we are back in business. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company!

I had a great experience with Air Design. I bought an 80-year old home without any kind of central air and spoke to three different providers who gave me different quotes. Air Design gave me the best quote and, when I shared the information with a friend who works in the HVAC industry in another state, he confirmed to me that not only was it the best rate, but that the proposal showed the most professionalism and sophistication in terms of designing a system to meet my needs in my house, instead of a cookie-cutter installation. It’s been a few weeks and I’m thrilled with the results.

Air Design is a high quality company that honors its customers with the best possible service and consideration to pinpoint my specific air conditioning needs. From finding this company, interviewing the manager and signing the contract I am pleased to say this was the best experience I’ve had in a while to spend money for a much need service. They helped my decision in choosing the best unit for my home. The installers and service people were pleasant, efficient and worked to complete the installation in time for 2014 drastic heat . Their timely response to this seasons (2015) service call is commendable. My selected air unit does not disappoint . I look forward to relaxing in an atmosphere of comfort during this heat season and await the use of the units installed that will provide heat in the winter; knowing that the units and installation is backed by quality people at Air Design.

I had several companies give me estimates and advice on installing central AC in my home. Air Design explained things to me in a comprehensive manner and answered all of my questions. Their price was excellent. Once the installation began, the guys worked diligently to complete the job as scheduled. The were neat and cleaned up at the end of the job. I highly recommend Air Design.

This is the second time I used this company for central air. The owners and staff are very professional and friendly. I have never had a problem with the first unit and really never needed a repair. When it was time to replace that unit I called them again. Everything went very smoothly and the workers are so neat that nothing was disturbed in my home. They are very easy to get in touch with and the owners have always got back to me on all my concerns. Their prices are very competitive and their service is higher then expected. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Air-Design.

Air Design provided me with a very competitive quote and accommodated my crazy schedule with a fast install of my new A/C unit. The engineers on site were very friendly and super clean, not to mention the work was top notch. While on site installing my A/C I encountered a problem with my new high efficiency boiler; even though they didn’t install the boiler they were quick to provide service. Nothing like being without A/C and hot water at the same time; it’s enough to make you crazy. Air Design, Jim, Frank, and the entire team really helped out my family. Nice to know there are companies out there working with families to keep the costs down and the quality of work up. Thanks Air Design,

After having estimates from numerous HVAC providers in the Nassau area, let me say that Air Design blew all the competition out of the water. There fast and professional service made this whole experience smooth and painless. Let me also say that their commitment to customer service was made evident on a situation that arose. After noticing that the condenser unit was shipped with a factory defect, Jim was on the phone in a matter of minutes and a new condenser was installed in no time!!! My family now enjoys and nice cool house!!!! Thank you Air Design!!!!!

I have used Air Design for over 10 years, first for some simple repairs and eventually for a whole new house system. When I had some problems with my 35+ yr. old AC they were always very honest in taking care of the problem at a very reasonable price. So when I finally decided to put in a new central air system I checked other companies as well as Air Design. After discussing my needs with 3 different companies I decided to go with Air Design. James Padavan the owner was great in discussing and explaining what was the best way to go. We went with a high capacity air handler and a new updated unit. My electrical bills are about 30% less and the unit runs beautifully. I had a question about a new filter box and talked with James. He had a great tech come to my house the same day. Chris the service tech was fabulous. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He put the new unit in, checked with me to make sure I had no problems installing new filters. Chris was a pleasure to meet and met all my expectations. I would highly recommend Air Design for any HVAC work, whether a repair or an entire new system. They are totally honest and reliable.

The experience was great from beginning to end, not only the administrative staff which was very kind, knowledgeable but also very personable. The work crew was respectful, prompt courteous and above all clean. They not only respected myself but my home as well, and were able to address issues I had with my furnace without any fancy extra or hidden pricing. These folks are highly recommended.

My experience was exceptional. They were on time & all workers were very personable. They left my house very clean after they completed the installation. Walked me thoroughly through how the units worked. I would highly recommend them as my experience was nothing but seamless.

Hands down the best A/C company. Jim, Frank, and the entire crew were very professional, clean, prompt and very polite. They far exceeded my expectations. A very honest and reliable company to do business with. I am now having them do my hot water system. They actually listen to your needs and suggest the best possible solutions. I highly recommend them to anyone that asks.
